My 13 year old son has a severe problem with learning how to say some simple words....."I am sorry".....He believes he is always right and I now have a son and a husband who haven't spoken in 5 days....Happy Mothers Day to me!

Dealing with a troubled teen can be frustrating and heartbreaking for parents. If your child is struggling or acting out, chances are that you have tried every method you can think of to change their behavior and turn their life around. This creates great strain on yourself and your family. If you are at your wit’s end and don’t know where to turn, a youth military school might be the best option.

This can be a possible option but then again, it might not be the best one. It's still important to assess on what kind of help your teen needs. Or much better talk it over with him in an uncontrolling manner. There's never any substitute for good parenting so we should try our best to reach out to our teens in any way that will help us understand them and their behavior. This parenting article talks on how effective some trouble teen programs are and if our teens do really need them.
